- Bucureşti-Târgovişte Rd., through Mogoşoaia, Buftea, D.J. 101 through Corbeanca up to Baloteşti and then on Bucureşti-Ploieşti Rd.;
- D.N.1 A - Bucureşti-Ploieşti, through Buftea;
- D.N.71 - Bucureşti- Bâldana – Târgovişte - D.N.171 – Fieni – Moroieni – Sinaia.
- For Kiseleff Rd. and Calea Victoriei Rd. up to the Parliament Palace:
- Mareşal Prezan Ave., Charles de Gaule Square, Aviatorilor Ave., Victoriei Square, Lascăr Catargiu Ave., Romană Square, General Magheru Ave., Nicolae Bălcescu Ave., 21 Decembrie 1989 Square, I.C.Bratianu Ave., Unirii Square;
- Mareşal Averescu Ave., Turda St., Grant Overpass, Griviţei Rd. or Giuleşti Rd.;
- Marăşti Bd., Alexandru Constantinescu St., Ion Mihalache Ave.
- For the Parliament Palace:
- 13 Septembrie Rd., Tudor Vladimirescu Ave., Regina Maria Ave., Unirii Square;
- Progresului Rd., Viilor Rd., Dr. C.Istrati St., Mărăşeşti Ave.
In order to organize the car parks for the NATO
Summit, traffic will
be closed on two segments of Libertăţii Avenue between 27 March –
5 April.
Traffic towards and from Unirii Square – Parliament Palace
– Marriott Hotel – Ministry of Defence will not be stopped
even if there will be established the two car parks for the Summit.
The extremities of Libertăţii Avenue – the one from George Coşbuc Ave roundabout and 13 Septembrie Rd., and the one between Splaiul Unirii and Naţiunilor Unite Ave. – will be reserved for the car parks of the vehicles that will transport the delegates attending the NATO Summit.
More than 400 minibuses and coaches will be parked in these
areas and guarded by gendarmes.
Police agents will be posted at junctions to direct the
traffic in order to expedite it towards and from Unirii
Square.
