• The forces involved in providing security for the NATO Summit in Bucharest participate in joint training sessions according to the program drawn up by the National Security Committee for NATO Summit.

The last preparations for the NATO Summit are underway. Therefore, a series of joint exercises of the security forces have been scheduled for March 2008, for the purpose of enhancing the capacity of cooperation and reaction at the interinstitutional level.

The training sessions and exercises have been provided for in the training plan of the structures that staff the security disposition and are carried out in accordance with the Summit Security Concept, approved by the Supreme National Defence Council on the occasion of its meeting on 15 February 2008.
