• Tomorrow, for two hours, the restrictions established for Romania – US bilateral meeting will be imposed in Constanţa County

On 1 April, 12.00 hours, the simulation exercise of the security measures established for the visit by US President, George W. Bush, to Constanţa County will be initiated. 

The purpose of this rehearsal is to check the capacities of reaction, coordination and interinstitutional collaboration regarding the protection and security measures to be taken.

The exercise starts at Mihail Kogălniceanu Airport with the simulation of a delegation pick-up, movement on the secured route and arrival at Neptun.

In Constanţa, road traffic will only be deviated while the official motorcade is passing through the city.

Authorities recommend that citizens avoid driving on 1 Decembrie 1918 Ave, 1 Mai Ave, Tomis Ave and Mangaliei Rd.

Stopping and parking vehicles will be forbidden both in Constanţa, and on the routes Mihail Kogălniceanu, Constanţa and Neptun on 1 April, between 12.00 – 14.00 hours, and on 2 April. 

Vehicles stopped or parked in the restricted areas will be lifted by the authorities.
