Security restrictions on DN1 and in Bucharest are being lifted
Friday, 04.04.2008, 05:35 PM

The National Security Committee for NATO Summit ordered that all security dispositions established on April 1 should be lifted.

Some minutes ago, authorities started lifting the traffic restrictions on the single corridor, which had been exclusively used by the delegations participating in the NATO Summit.

The security measures established for the single corridor are being lifted simultaneously from four points of Bucharest. At this time, they are dismantling the traffic separating elements from “Henri Coandă” International Airport, Victoriei Square, Naţiunilor Unite Square and the Parliament Palace.

The special measures established at the hotels that accommodated foreign delegations have been lifted as well.

The National Security Committee for NATO Summit thanks the citizens and mass media representatives for their support and understanding.
