Medical emergencies are solved in due time

02.04.2008, 02:40 PM- The NATO Summit medical teams intervened in four serious emergency situations
683 emergency calls were received by the Bucharest Ambulance Service yesterday.Of them, 43% were first- and zero-degree emergencies, and the average time for resolving the cases was 19 minutes.
Since security measures were imposed in Bucharest, the NATO Summit medical teams have intervened in four situations. In three of the cases, permission was requested to enter the single traffic corridor, and in one case, the air corridor (a MIRA helicopter with SMURD crew).
