The NATO Secretary General, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, has arrived to Bucharest on “Henri Coandă” International Airport. The motorcade with the Secretary General traveled in optimal conditions to the venue of his meeting with Romania’s President, the first important moment on the agenda of the NATO high official.

Throughout the day, several aircraft transporting foreign delegations have landed to Bucharest. Air surveillance and reconnaissance measures were applied, according to the procedures.

All motorcades traveled along the established routes in normal conditions and arrived at destinations according to the timetable.

Other official aircraft are expected to land at Bucharest today.
